undammed stream segment (mainstem)

accurate.
Are there any potential streamflow management strategies
that we missed?
- Focus
on future filings (e.g., springs)
- Wetlands/riparian
areas as natural water storage areas.
Understand if they are fully functional? Do they need restoration?
- Understand
how changes in points of diversion may have potential impacts on wetlands
and riparian areas.
- Invasive
species control.
- Evaluate
secondary impacts related to changes in man-made habitat associated with
historical diversions and uses.
Remember that current conditions are not necessarily negative and
in fact may reflect an augmentation of natural conditions. Intensive management may NOT improve
these systems.
Any MAJOR CONCERNS regarding the management tools
proposed?
Not at this time.
